It's similar to email.  When you reply to someone, there's usually an "RE: " appended to the beginning of the subject line.  Everytime you reply to a post, the "RE: " is added regardless of what the previous subject line was.

This isn't a complaint, just curiosity. I've noticed that every topic has the initials "RE" attached to the front. I know that this probably means "Response". What I want to know is why does some have 1 some 2 and some 3 RE's in front of them? Is this a cheesy way to show the number of pages that each topic has?
