Server Error in '/FSM/CS' Application
Posted by darson on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 7:29 AM

David,

I occasionally get this error thrown back at me and the usual fix is to wait a couple of minutes then try and access the forum again and usually all is fine.
By the way this problem occurs on both my work PC which uses XP and IE as well as my home PC which runs XP and Firefox.

I imagine if it happens to me, it must happen to others as well.

Cheers

I've had that a few times myself. Next time I'll think to take a screenshot myself.

It usually only happens once. Refreshing the page almost always gets you past it.

So long folks!

That particular error is an error that occurs on the server and has nothing to do with what you're using in regards to browser or OS.

Ignore the message, refresh the page and it should go away.  I know it's annoying and for that I apologize.

Thanks for the prompt response Dave, I didn't think it was a browser problem which is why I reported it.

Cheers

For some reason this seems to happen to me at least once daily! Usually when trying to post or delete a thread, but refreshing the screen hardly ever gets rid of it? I tried to post and it kept coming up with that, then when it finally went through, I had posted the same thing 6 timesLaugh [(-D] Usually the only way I can get rid of it is to go back to the main page of the forums and access the thread from there again. I was thinking maybe it was something do with my computer, but I'm glad its not (for once)
