Avatars can be created yourself, made from a digital photo, or can be found online (and for free!) on the internet. Go to Google, click on Images and search for Free Avatars. Once you decide on the avatar you want, save it to your hard drive (remembering where!), then go to your update profile page here at FSM and upload the avatar to the FSM Server. Save and wait at least ten minutes for the server to refresh and you should be in business.
GB Badges and Signature pictures need to be hosted on a website such as Image Shack or Photobucket, then you can cut <ctrl c> and paste <ctrl v> into the signature box on your profile page. There is a limit on how large of an image you can post, see here:
