Hi David - I haven't been posting much since the change-over but I remember that back then my posting window would save my font settings. This new window won't allow that, nor do I see any other 'post' button to use other than the reply button in the thread, the post button below this window as I type, and the post button to start a new thread. Curiously, the preview button has just disappeared too.

Also, I don't have access to any smileys.

I'm using my AOL browser, which had always worked before.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there another place to save my settings?

No, you're not doing anything wrong.

To be honest, I wasn't aware that the other posting window saved font settings.  I'll see if there are options for this one to remember as well.

When we switched to the these forums, one of the changes was the post/reply buttons.  To reply to a post, you have to use the reply button that's attached to the person's reply.  Unfortunately, there isn't a single reply button option that you could use to reply.

In regards to the preview button, it's disappearance occurred today when I replaced the editor within the posting window.  I'm not sure if / when I can bring that back yet but in the meantime you still have the option to edit your reply.

Smileys should be back soon.
