Last time on the update the P-38 was not quite finished. Now it has the blood stained canopy and pilot but still lacks the twisted front gear and prop blur.

Next I had a large piece of board that I cut for a cyclorama not a diorama. I wanted to be able to see from several angles. Using some scrap stryofoam and food containers I glued them down as a base for sand dunes.

Next plotted some homemade palm trees (not finished). not happy with these maybe they'll look better with leaves.

Used a small piece of spring steel bent at a matching angle to the aircraft and inserted in a tight hole in the wood.

Another angle, I hope that with the cyc sky line it will achieve the look I want, plus the oil and gas drums,camo nets, sand bags and debris.
