Goldhammer, how did you attempt picture post? If you list the steps you tried we can help you better.

I set up a photobucket account and am working off of a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 home. Got the pics loaded from my windows live photo section on the 'puter to PB, but can't get any further from that point. Have not figured out how to open a FSM page along with PB page at the same time, or even i I need to. Not real skilled on copy/paste either.
You can do it without opening simultaneous windows, but it is a lot harder switching back and forth between windows. Unless you have a very old browser, it should be able to have multiple "tabs" open. What browser are you using- the default Windows Internet Explorer, or a third party browser?
Have what is on the program, have not loaded Firefox. I think it is explorer 10 or 11.
Have an old XP at work with Firefox because explorer went south in that one years ago. Can access my PB from that one, but I won't be here forever, boss is trying to retire me....
No need to be afraid of cut and paste.
Just open the photo in Photobucket, go to the top right pane and right click on the link labeled "direct", and click "copy".
Back here, click on "Use rich formatting" (just to the left of the reply button), click on the little computer screen icon, hover your mouse over the URL box, right click, click "paste", click on the insert button.
Done. Hope this works for you.
It isn't necessary to have PB and FSM open at the same time whilst doing this, but as Don mentioned, it is rather convenient to have them both open in their own tabs.
here we go again- Ah ha, thanks guys. My baby for the Japanese GB IV

You tackled it, Hammer. Good job.
