                        I have just purchased an Eduard Albatros D111 Oeffag 253 1/48 scale. I intend to paint the fuselage wood brown. Any tips on how to reproduce the clear coated light wood effect, paint choice and technique.

                        Welcome aboard. As well as Tojo's suggestion, have a look at the WW1 Gb currently running, some amazing wood effects in there.
