Hello from Long Beach Ca.

I've been making military models since I was 12. Off and on as an adult. I just love it for some reason. I remember riding my bike 8 miles to the hobby shop almost every weekend, Military Hobbies in Orange. It was awesome. I really like FSM magazine. It's the most concise modeling magazine with well written and structured articles. I also enjoy seeing everybody's projects in the forums and user photo sections. So many talented modelers! I hope to post a few things as well. Rob

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I have done a few 1/72 scale dioramas in the last 6 months but usually 1/35. I really like WW1 and some of the more obscure conflicts and subjects of the 20th century. I'm actually working on a WW2 Italian bomber right now because my girlfriend got it for me. Lol!
Thanks for the warm welcome. I I'll post a few pics later

Welcome to the forum Rob! You are fortunate to have Military Hobbies as your LHS. I visited it once and was very impressed, notwithstanding the yellowing Saturn V with the crumbling decals in the window! I used to ride my bike to the hobby shops too, and definitely would have regularly made the 8 mile trip to Military Hobbies. Anyway have fun here and share photos of your models with us!
