Hi
Stumbled across this site while searching the web for info and supplies to build a garage diorama; have eyestrain and carpal tunnel to prove it.
My wife just completed a 1/12th scale doll house, I helped a little and really got into it. Decided to build something of my own.
Check my post in the Diorama forum, I can use all the help I can get!

Welcome sisco, I've always wanted to build a doll house but my wife isn't interested in them and I don't have a daughter. Sigh [sigh] Oh well maybe I'll just build a scale model of a house. LOL Once again welcome to FSM.

"maybe I'll just build a scale model of a house"
Actually "Doll House" is a misnomer, it is in fact a 1/12" scale house, not the kind of thing you actually play with. It's amazing how much scale stuff there is available. Never realized how much money a person could spend either!

Very cool house sisco! Everytime I go to Frankenmuth, MI we stop in a doll house store there. I can look at that stuff for hours! I'm a wood worker and have thought on several occasion that I would like to build miniature furniture. Thanks for sharing those pics.Cool [8D]

I'm a Newbie too, trying to figure out how to work this, but as a fellow colleague it will come quickly...Diorama's are great! Quite an art form in itself. If I remember correctly, and I will check my library, but there is a great book published in the mid 60's on this subject. I will try to locate and get back to you! Smile [:)]
