Hi all

Hi everyone, not new to building models but just starting back in after 25 years of not building. Don't know if this place to ask this but is anyone able to tell me if I just got a rally good deal or am I missing something. I bought a 1/24 SPITFIRE VP pin-up made by hobbycraft. I bought 1 box with everything in it including 3 resin figures, and all parts that are in list. I bought that one for $20 plus tax I then saw that there was another box with the same model but marked missing parts on box for $10. So I got both for $30. So I get home and I get the inst out on how to build it and look at the paint guide. One shade is "egg green" never heard of that so I think to go look on net for that model and maybe a color chart to find out what egg green is. But what I find is that the model I have bought go's foe $90 to $110 each? Same box same parts same name as mine. Did I just get some real luck or is price off on web?

Anyhow love this mag and forums rock you all seem to be great people.

Thanks

Hi back!
I can't quote you a price, but I'd reason you did good. Resin figs. are usually around $10 a piece in a smaller scale, so I'd rate it a deal. Did you find your color? RAF tend to be named not numbered like the FS system in the US.

I did find the color or atleast a number for one brand and a mix of 2 numbers to mix my own. The Resin figs are nice but in 1/24 scale so
a limited use for them. So I have 2 US, 2RAF and 2 canadian pilots and lots of stuff for the spares box.

Hello stindle, Welcome to the forum. I have seen the P-51 by the same company go for $110 at Hobby Lobby. No doubt about it you got a great deal!
