I'm building a Glencoe kit now. Two really, the Spirit of St. Louis(1/110),working on now, and the Wright Flyer(1/103), to do. Overly thick and little detail. But I like the size and I'm scratch building the cockpit.
My LHS(local hobby shop) carries some Glencoe. He had the station and a rocket last time I was in, a while back. Here's the address:[code]http://www.traintownhobbycrafts.com[/code]. Paul is pretty good at getting stuff if he can.

Correcting, do have nuclear spacestation, spacemen, and 50's fUFO ( flying saucer ).

Ofcourse, if I wasn't so lazy, I might have done this earlier, here's another site that sells Glencoe Models ( is correct spelling for company )

Lee, that is a neat site. All kinds of cool collectables! I don't know if Glenco went out of business but they can't be too long gone. If I find a source for the Glencoe Sci-Fi kits I'll try to let you know about them. Have you tried ebay?

model builder whose built several kits, including the Glencoe reissues of the 50's spaceships, just stumbled across this myself the other day. I have most of these, still in box, unbuilt. Reason for asking about Glencoe, friend kind of interested in getting same kits, but Glencoe website seems to be dead, same of company ?

Welcome rclausen117, What model information do you have to share? What model related thing do you have a guestion about? Look over the different topics in the forums and give your opinion or ask your questions Just jump in and particapate. Best place to start is just read what everyone is saying.

Hello LeeCody, Welcome to the forum. You can still buy Glencoe kits here's a website that sells them. http://www.rollmodels.net/search/newsrch.php I hope that helps some. I didn't see any of the 50's Sci-Fi kits but I remember them.
