Welcome to FSM Fred. You sound about like I was when I stumbled upon this great place. I have learned more than I ever thought possible about modeling since. I recently did a 57 vette my self, pretty fun little build hope I can help you out with it.

I would like to think everybody who replied to my fourm. I am going to start viewing the other fourms today. My intersets are in classic cars and airplanes. I already have so many models in my room that i have trouble finding space for new ones. I am finishing up the Wright Flyer(on the cover of the mag) and I have a '57 corvette I am going to start.

Welcome to the forums, Fred.

Like the others have said, pick a forum and ask away. Each subject (Armor, Aircraft and so on) has their own techniques and tricks to help you make a better looking model.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] Fred I sure that you will find all the help you need within the forums, don,t be scared to ask any questions that you need an answer for. Only wished there was a forum like this when I started modelling it might have saved my sanity.

Enjoy yourself

Fred, welcome to FSM. The others have given you the basics. You'll find a great deal of information just by checking out the threads that are already posted. When you have a specific question, just go ahead and start a new thread. You'll be reading responses before you know it. Don't be afraid to ask either; no such thing as a stupid question.

Welcome to FSM Fred. You've come to the right place to pick up on some of those tips. First off head to the individual forums that meet your tastes. Lots to choose from A/C to Armour to Cars, Search for the technique you want to know about and if you're not having any luck ... ask.

Enjoy the forums.
