Welcome to the Forums Flanker. We're a little off kilter sometimes, but with our hobby you almost have to be sometimes.

speaking of 'dead forum', I would really love to see a global compaign in cleaning those dead forums and websites that never get update

Hey, flanker37! Welcome to the forums! the guys here can give you good advice on how to make your models look better. Pop on over to the Aircraft forums, lots of fun to be had there! A note of warning: be sure wo watch your bank account balance, and make sure these guys don't get to the wife... she might end up modeling too, and then you're Censored [censored]!

Again, welcome to the FSM forums! Big Smile [:D]

Hey guys
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, November 27, 2003 11:45 PM
Well i just found this site tonight & read some of the posts and thought i would join to talk with u fine folks. Alittle bought me. Im 31 and started building when i was about 8 or so (yup all those models back then came out ugly, but i was proud.).

biult for a few years off and on and then in about 96 or 97 i got back into it quite heavy. My interest was and still is 1/48 korea- present military aircraft. I built about 50 planes in that time refining my skill. In late 99 i movedacross the country to S.W. Florida and put the building on hold.

I got in the attic the other day and found all the models i built and had packed away. Got a bit excited and opened em up, and put them in a shelfed book case( well the ones that survived(Thankfully my SU-27 only had 1 missle fall offBig Smile [:D])

Im getting ready in the next week or so to unpack all the models i havent built( about 100 +/- ) and my tools & supplies and get back into this thing.

some of ur guys stories got me missing it abit.
anyway talk to ya later
