I you spy one....get back to me! Not a priority, but they don't come along very often!

I just saw one not too long ago, but, sadly, it already has a 6" chop top...Sigh [sigh] What a waste.

I'll keep an eye out though...

LOL... Sure, but it's gonna cost and it'll be running when you get it.

Seriously! I'll buy the hulk and take care of the motor! No body chopping.....just a great outside look and tasteful custom interior!

She sais it's all good. She's happy that, at least, THIS hobby I can enjoy under the same roof as her...

Thanks for the warm welcome guys...

Hi all!

First, I'v already asked a few question and let me tell you that I was more than pleases with everyone's kindness and enthusiasm to share their passion and knoledge.

I'm a Mechanic for BMW and am into 1:1 car resto. I am 30 years old and havn't built a kit in about 17 years.

I just got back to this hobby, kinda by accident. Here's how.

My girl friend bought me a 1971 Skyline GT-R Tamiya kit. She tought it would make me happy, cause I'm in the process of importing the "real" thing here in Canada. It did made me happy, but let's face it... The last thing I needed was an other expensive and time consuminghobby lol.

The thing is, getting this kit brung some good memories back to the surface and I just can't ignore them.

Now that I'm a professional adult and a perfectionist on top of things, I want to do things the right way. THAT is what brings me here.

Thanks for welcoming me and for sharing your knoledge.Thumbs Up [tup]

Alex.

P.S.: One more thing, I'm a french speaking Canadian and am always looking to perfect my english, so if you see wrongly used words or bad sentence structures or orthographe mistakes in my posts, please DO let me know, I wont be offended.
