A quote from FSM..and right on! - Am 56 - builts models all my life...except..when raising the family..but even then - managed to knock out a few...now that I am working out of my house - and sort of a empty nester - LIFE is GOOD! - have knocked out 52 models in 2 years...Planes WWII 1/48..now trying 1/32..neato...1/350 ships...Terrifffff...a lotsa armor 1/35...mostly TAMIYa..becuase...the Stress is non existant..they are TOTAL pleasure...I have enough stress in my work!...anyway..these new acrylic paints..and air brushes..and glues..and...Model Master Metalizers...really...made models..go BALISTIC...compared to DUCO..and AURORA...purple Me-109 - first kit...1954..I think...But..its the smells that get back to ya...you right back to 8-9-10...having a nice time....JUST ME A MY MODELS...I give some out to clients...HEY...its a great PROMO ITEM...also take pictures...high quality shots...so..all in..all..
have no complaints....except..WISH FSM..was published BI-MONTHLY!!..how about guys!!??

Sounds like you have gotten back into the hobby in a big way ... great production numbers !

I know what you mean about certain smells bringing back very fond memories of childhood ... didn't know others had this happen to them too.

I also like the way you think ... ":as long as I have a model to build I;ll never die." Amen !

Again, welcome and I hope to see you and your years of experience here in the FSM forums many many times in the future. The more we read and comment the more we can learn from each other.

If that is true, i'll live forever. Like you, I have been building models forever, well at least over fifty years or so. Welcome and have fun in your building as well as this site.
