Those Missouri class battleships have such nice lines, don't they? What do you have in mind for the next project? (people here have a strange habit of stockpilling kits... maybe in preparation for the bomb shelter during a nuclear fall out... Tongue [:P])

Very Very Newbie - Haven't glued the first piece on yet
Posted by jewel on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 10:20 PM
Hello Everyone,

I've spent the last several days just reading all the great information. Finally picked up a kit last week. This will be my very first - difficult to choose. Those big ships with all the masts and rigging were mighty tempting. But I resisted and bought a Revell 1/535 USS Missouri (Skill Level 2 ages 10 + up) - figured I might be able to handle this one at 40+. Smile [:)]

I also picked up my first issue (Jan '04) of FSM and am sending in my application to IPMS.

Scrounged around in our basement to find my son's airbrush he hadn't used in 5 yrs. It is a Badger 175 bottom feed, dual action, internal mix. No air compressor though his grandpa took it back since it wasn't being used. Never used one before so this will be a month of many firsts for me.

What a wonderful forum. Cool [8D] Thumbs Up [tup]
