Welcome to FSM Buff. It's possible to find good deals on kits, I don't have to many that I have paid full price for yet, just have to keep your eyes open.

Welcome back to the fold and welcome to the forums, Buff. Check out the Academy kits. Theyre fairly priced but have good details.

Welcome to FSM Buff. Good to have you join us here.

There are still quite a few of the older kits that are very reasonable in price ... Yes, some of the new toolings are getting up there in price, but I sure can get a lot of enjoyment for $50.

Enjoy the forums !!!
Happy Modelling and God Bless Robert

Welcome back to modeling and welcome to the forums, buff! cheap 1/35 kits, huh? (don't worry, i've got a tight modeling budget too) Though i'm not much into armor anymore, i think that there are some decent dragon or academy kits out there. tamiya is a bit pricy over here (who else prices a bren carriage equal to a king tiger???), but then again, they're almost always first rate kits... you should ask the treadheads here, as they'd know better than me. I'm back in modeling after being away for a good few years. I build AFV's.This is my first time scanning the forums for tips and hints, and they are a first class resource. One problem I face is the price of 1/35 kitsAngry [:(!] What companies built quality kits at a decent price? Thanks
