Hello to all. My name is Al. I've been lurking around here for a while, but never introduced myself.

I got back into the hobby two years ago, after a (mumble) decade hiatus.
I'm especially interested in jet aircraft from the 40's to the early 60's. You know, the period when they still needed wingsSmile [:)].

Thanks for all the tips I've already picked up from reading the forum these past few months.

Hello Al, Welcome to the forum. That was an interesting era for jets. Cool [8D]

Welcome to the forums, Al. Fortunately for plane modelers planes still need landing gear. Laugh [(-D]

That's a nice era to work with, but my biggest complaint: too much aluminum!! (This from a guy doing an F-86!) Smile [:)] It kinda makes you wonder about who else could be lurking out in the shadows doesn't it? Great to finally have you speak up! If you have any questions at all, just post them, and we're almost sure to reply! Smile [:)] Welcome to the forums, Al! Wink [;)]
