Hello - picked up an old hobby after 20+ years
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 11:53 AM
Hello,

My name is Greg. I decided to get back into this old hobby after a few years here. Had to finish a few things like growing up, finishing college, establishing my career - you know, the unimportant stuff. Along the way I've had other hobbies like woring on real cars and modifying them and painting water color paintings. At least thats the two that I still do. Then I thought to myself, why not combine the two things that interest me most Cars and Painting - so I jumped back into modeling. Last night I went out and bought a 1/24 scale Porsche Evo I, Le Mans car and all the paints and glues and got to work preping it.

Now I had 5 years of scratch building models in college, thoght they were just buildings, not cars - Im an Architect by the way - so modeling isn't lost to me, though the techniques are a bit different, the principles are still the same bascially. An I built models like they were going out of style up until i was 10 year old or so, so im anxious to get back into it and to hear what ya'll have to teach me!!

So hello - and lets get to work!!Big Smile [:D]
