Just came back into modelling after years away .interestd in figure modellingand bought three verlinden models.Im not going so well as i thought i would, hey early days yet ,want to paint with acrylics whats the best one to use,names brian hope to hear from you

welcome Brian. I to was lured back into the fold by verlinden figs. Paint-wise I use the Model Master Acryl from Testors( they make a 4 color set for flesh tones). I've heard good things about Tamiya they might be easier for you to get since Asia is closer than the US. Figure modellers like a couple lesser known brands But I like the Model Master for the variety and Tamiya has a lot of colors too so those are used by people who a wider range. Look around and see what you find. You might look at oils too. Those are sometimes used on fleshy areas.
