Hi guys, my name is Gordon, and I'm a modelholic.

I've been addicted to models for nearly thirty years now, and they have ruined my life!

I lose interest in the middle of conversations because I'm thinking of the amount of sanding needed to remove a resin plug from a Classic Airframes cockpit.....

I turn up late for work related meetings because I just had to finish the decaling on that Airfix Seafire.....

My addiction has also led me to abuse two partners in my life, let's just call them Mistercart and Visu, and they have had to carry a heavy load......

I'm not looking for sympathy guys, just understanding!

A real modelholic would quit his/her job in order to avoid annoying scheduling conflicts.

A real modelholic would completely isolate themselves from all human contact. Social events get in the way of modeling.

A real modelholic would consider sleep optional. Just think what you could do with 8 extra hours of model time.

It sounds like your well on your way. Keep up the good work.

Just kidding of courseSmile [:)]

Welcome

Oh great one....
Share thy knowledge with me...
Oh master..
enlighten me with the secret behind the patience needed for allowing Tamiya putty to dry..
.Or give me the strength to skip lunch and dinner so I can paint my mustang..
Or simply give me the strength to stop wailing when overspray seeps into my MiG-29 cockpit!!!
Train me to attain the post of modelholic!!!!

Hi Gordon

Hope you weren't offended by my remark in the "ugliest plane" poll.
As they say...."Beauty is as beauty does"

.....but what's up with that Nimrod anyway?????

Happy modeling!
