Hello from a newbie
Posted by Dice on Friday, January 16, 2004 11:16 AM
Hi everyone just thought I would stop in and see what the site was all about. A little about myself, I’m 45 years old and have served in the USAF for the past 23 years. I’ve worked the F-5E, F-4E/G, OV-10, and for the past 13 years the A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog".

I was an avid modeler for about 10 years but almost most five years ago my youngest daughter was born and my modeling room turned into her room. I’ve done a couple of models in the past few years but not much. I have a half-finished 1/48 Hassagawa F-4G and a 1/48 A-10, also half –finished, in my basement now I would like to finish.

For the past few years I’ve been into PC flight sims, but I may lurk here for a while and try to catch-up on the modeling hobby. Hope you don’t mind an old crew dawg hanging around a bit trying to learn a little something on you forums.

BTW- I do have a website on the A-10 if you would like to take a look...

I posted this in the wrong forum the first time so if you see it in that section just mark it up to me being a newbie! Black Eye [B)]

Thanks kik36, for the welcome and comments on my site! If you have any Qs on the A-10 (single or two seat) just let me know and I will try to answer the best I can. Now all I have to do is dig-out my old, unfinished kits, and start working again.

If not I can just hang-out and talk aircraft with y'all! Big Smile [:D]

Don't sweat it, dice. what matters here is that you like to build models! I've always wanted to do an F-4G, but i've never been able to find the kit! Snap a few pics of the unfinished kit and post them here! Smile [:)] Oh, and welcome to the forums!!
