Hi everyone:

I'm new to plastic modeling. My favorite models are military aircraft especially jet fighters and bombers.

I am retired after many years in the accounting field and my wife suggested I do something to stay our of her hair.

My wife and I have two daughters and three wonderful grandchildren.

As soon as the weather improves we plan to do a lot of traveling. We have spent some time overseas but came to the conclusion that traveling this wonderful country is best.

Looking forward becomming a regular on the forum.

Welcome Mark,
Modeling is the most gratifying hobby ever. Be careful though, you may get so involved in the hobby that your wife would wish you back in her hair.

Regards,

P.S It would be nice to know whereabouts you are. Don't be shy now!

Welcome to FSM Mark. Good thing you're an accountant .... you may have to do some creative bookwork once the modelling bug really takes hold in your system.

Enjoy the forums !!!!

Thanks to everyone for the big welcome. I will watch the hobby budget although it's already getting away from me.

By the way, I'm from Eugene, OR (the hippie capital of the US. Were still in the 60"s:)

Welcome to the forums, Mark-66! You should also watch out for this site... Reading the posts here is a hobby in itself! (and part of the reason i'm not getting as much modeling done) What have you built so far? Smile [:)]
