Hello Lee..          I agree with my colleagues remarks,, if you want to try a new engineered kit, try a Dragon... great kits, lots of diversion too

Glad to have you aboard

Enjoy the ride!

Thanks Masonme for the info about Dragon kits and the welcome. I have started branching out to Academy. I will check out the Armor forum and see what's going on there!

Pick up one of the newer Dragon kits and you'll see just how far the hobby has come since you last built a kit. The detail on them is second to none. Tamiya also makes a quality product but they are certainly not the only player in the game anymore. Hang around the Armor forum and you'll quickly see what I mean. Glad to have you in the forum, and certainly don't hesitate to ask for help or guidance as there are some outstanding builders here and they will help you out.

Welcome Sign to the forums.  Whenever you are ready to take on a challenge, go for one of those Dragon kits.  Good luck! Yes

Hi Everyone! My name is Lee Massey from NC, USA. I built alot of models when I was a teenager but lost interest in the hobby. I returned to the hobby three years ago and it feels great to build models again. My primary interest is armor models in 1:35 scale. Tamiya is the main company that i use but I want to branch out into other companies later. I would appreciate any suggestions or tips about painting and airbrushing. Still haven't got the hang of these yet! Happy Modeling! :-)
