Guess I'd better follow protocol and introduce myself.
I'm returning to modelling after about 35 years. Thus far, I've built a Tamiya Panther A (the same exact kit I build back in 1970), a Tamiya Panzer IVH (very much improved over the old Monogram Panzer IV I built in the 1960's) and I'm struggling with a Panzer IIL "Luchs".
The last one is the most frustrating kit I've ever built. The parts are microscopic. The fit is often awkward and the designer apparently made parts just to be making parts. The instructions are confusing and arcane. Other than that, its a nice looking model.
Twenty-four years Texas National Guard mech infantry and field artillery; fifteen years high school History teacher; fifteen year full-time Federal Readiness Tech for the Texas Guard. Just retired from teaching and have starting working on a stash of 40 or so kits that have been in storage for 30 years.
