Hello fellow modellers!
Posted by MaskMats on Saturday, March 12, 2011 4:05 PM

Hello everyone. My name is Keith and I've been a modeller since I was 10yrs old. I'm 56yrs now and still try to crank a model out every now and then. I have to say that this is the first time I've ever subscribed online to Finescale Modeler and I have to admit it was pretty easy. Hope to share some experience and photos when I can and also learning a thing or two from others as well. Have fun and keep on modelling.

Welcome Sign Welcome to the Forums Keith. Toast  Real nice bunch of guys here always willing to help out. Us older guys got to stick together. These young wippersnappers on here do pretty darn good work, and they are a nice bunch too.

Welcome, Kieth. Don't let the lack of audience participation fool you, there are a lof of great modelers here with some wonderful builds. I hope to inspire you, even if you're a veteran as I am. I've been doing this for over thirty years.  Kick off your shoes, and relax. Stay a while, and familarize yourself with the site, and the members here. I hope you'll like what you see here, and enjoy the company of kindred spirits. There are a few that run in their own little clique that won't comment, but look then go on for fear of what the senior members will think if they see them praising someone elses' work - don't let them discourage you, or your participation here. The quality members are the ones that you'll see gravitating to you when you're not just part of the crowd! Thanks for joining.

Maybe a picture of a squirrel playing a harmonica will make you feel better?
