Aeromaster Warbird colors
Posted by Sawman on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 9:09 AM

Hello all. I'm new to forum communication. I enjoy reading everyone's postings. They have helped me over the years. I'm in my late fifties and have been an avid modeler since childhood. My first model was helping my dad build the old Forrestal carrier. All I remember is that it was molded in gray plastic except for the deck which I remember as dark blue. Anyway, it was a long time ago and I may just remember it wrong. So my question is; I have some Aeromaster paints from a few years back. I've never used them as I usually use Testors Modemaster paints. My question is, are they enamel or acrylic. If they are enamel, what is a good thinner to use when airbrushing?

Welcome to the forums!  I use MM paints too... they are both acrylic or enamel.  You need to read the labels on the paint... those with white labels are acrylics while blacks or otherwise are enamel.  I use MM Airbrush thinner to thin the paint for airbrushing.  My local shop sells one in large metal tin which is alot cheaper than buying one in glass bottles.

Toast Welcome to the forums. I don't have any experience with Aeromaster paint. I'd suggest reposting your question in the painting section. The folks here will get you an answer quickly.
