Hi,
My name is John van Hooijdonk and I live in a small town called Gemert in the southern part of the Netherlands near Eindhoven. I was born on September 18th 1964, which makes me 46 y.o.
My favourite subject in modelling is WWII allied stuff, specially the Sherman. I will post some of my work in the near future....
All the best, John.

Welcome to the forum, John!
I am now retired, but my last employer was Philips, and I made two trips to your country to visit our plants in Eindhoven. It was a very interesting thing for me to see Europe for the first time. I was amazed to see how many bicycles there were, parked at the train station! I had rented a car, and was definitely in the minority regarding transportation! (Couldn't go from Schippol airport to Eindhoven on a bicycle, of course.) I enjoyed visting your country and seeing how different it was from my home in America.
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

Hi Johan and welcome to the best forum outthere. You will find this community to be a friendly and helpful bunch of people. Unlike some dutch language forums outthere....0
Anyways, always good to see someone new. Have fun my friend.
