Hello ALL:
Finally I could join this wonderful forum. I`m almost 30, Mexican born (but with German, Spanish and Jewish ancestry) and a flight attendant in Aeromexico.
I have been modelling since I was 6 (my first kit was a box scale Lufthansa 707 that my father brought me from Germany), however I turned into a more serious modeller (airbrush, p.e. and resins) about 6 years ago. My main subject are still airliners in 1/144 and I have an unbuilt collection of about 200 of almost all types. My other two subjects are 1/72 military aircraft, being my favourites everything with a Royal Air Force and Fleet Air Arm roundel on it and a collection of Vietnam War aircraft which will include some armor.
Anyway I like to build any kind of aircraft as long as I find it interesting so sometimes I take a break and build an Indian Sukhoi Su 27 or a Peruvian Mirage 2000.
My favourite airliner in scale is the Revell AG Airbus A320 but I have a soft spot for the Otaki L-1011 sadly never to be produced again. In 1/72 my choices are Revell AG Panavia Tornado and Monogram`s F-105 "Thud" for a jet fighter. For a prop aircraft my choice is the Hasegawa Bristol Beaufighter .
This will be the first of a multitude of posts to come.
