Hello From Canada
Posted by WheelsUp on Saturday, August 20, 2011 7:02 PM

Hello All,

I've been following the forums for a couple months now, lots of great info and I look forward to participating.  I've only been building for a year or so, I attempted a few builds as a kid but never really finished anything. I got back into the hobby last summer after finishing University.

My interest is mainly aircraft, but I have a couple armor kits in the stash. I've noticed I'm not the only one who has a growing collection of kits. I have a couple kits I'm saving until I improve my skills, including the Academy 1/48 Raptor and the 1/32 Tamiya Mustang which I recently picked up.

Here are some photos of a recent build and a build in progress.

1/72 Italari Global Hawk

And the project I an currently wrapping up, which is a $16 Revell Corsair. I'm building this one for fun and practice. It's got some rough spots, but overall I'm happy with how it's turning out.

Welcome Sign Waiting pieces lay sealed in the box, but there is a miraculous feeling of the model being there, invisible, illuminated by the craftman’s imagination, and clamoring to become visible. Imaginations, which are essential and dangerous, are powerful tools. Use it frequently. Welcome to endless wonder and friendly arguments without end. Post lots and lots of pictures.

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.
