New and Glad to say Hello
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 28, 2004 5:10 PM
Cool [8D]Hi everyone, I'm new to this group and happy to be part of it.... I've been building for a few years and now I'm hooked, I like building planes and mainly cars. I only build in plastic and love to customize and improve off the shelf kits.
I just wanted to know if anyone is into the same stuff, or if anyone is about my age....16... and lives in Ohio. I feel kind of left out and want someone to discuss modeling with. Let me know and I'll try and get a hold of anyone who is interested in a modeling pen pal!!!!!
Thanks alot for reading and welcoming me!!Big Smile [:D]

Hang in there glenoakdrummer2005. I’m sure there is someone out there in your area. When I was 16, about 10 years ago, I had a few friends that modeled with me. Brings back memories… Anyway, you are not alone, as you have all of us. Big Smile [:D]
So, don’t be shy and feel free to ask questions and show off your work. It's almost like having a whole crew of virtual modeling friends. Thumbs Up [tup]

Hi and welcome Stephen

It's good to see modelers of all age groups on here...we all have a common interest
and this website allows us all to express ourselves. So don't feel left out, because you are now a part of a big and ever growing family.

Regards, Dan

Welcome to the forums, glenoakdrummer2005!! it's great to see another young modeler around... I want to get my cousin into the act, but she's a very active 8 year old with a short attention span... maybe when she's older. Just watch the budget... the plastic addiction can be quite expensive! Show us some of your work, then! Smile [:)]
