Thanks for the warm welcome.  Once I get a few more layers of paint on the Sherman I'll get a few pics up.  She's still a bit to dark.  Doogs, I have been following your blog pretty closely and your Sherman build has definately helped me out....a lot!

On a sadder note, I was up in Martinsburg today for the airshow and witnesses the tragic crash.  My heart goes out to the family and fellow flyers of the lost Trojan Horseman.  As they taxied out I thought to myself, those T-28 are some awesome aircraft, that's gonna be my first.  After today i'll be looking to do one that looks a little something like this.

Welcome aboard! Tamiya's Early Sherman was my re-entry into armor as well. My main focus is aircraft, but I did a handful of (awful) tanks as a kid. Have to say having slightly more patience and hanging out here have drastically improved my abilities (though I still drool at what others churn out!).

Here's my Sherman...fantastic kit by the way!

On the Bench: 1/32 Trumpeter P-47 | 1/32 Hasegawa Bf 109G | 1/144 Eduard MiG-21MF x2

On Deck:  1/350 HMS Dreadnought

Hello all.  I've been lurking for a couple of months while exploring the idea of getting back into modeling.  Its been about 25 years since my last victims were glued together as a kid with zero patience.  About a two months ago I started purchasing some basic tools etc. and began working on my latest victim, Tamiya's Early Sherman.  Its going well so far, up to paint where I broke in my new airbrush and I must say it's been  quite enjoyable so far.  I was glad to see I have learned a little patience over the years.

Thanks to all for the great information on this forum, I have benefited greatly and look forward to being a contributing member.
