Welcome Sign aboard.  For online retailers I usually buy from GreatModels.com, Spruebrothers.com and Squadron.com.

i use WWW.SCALEHOBBYIST.COM its a great site, it has models of all types and scales. cars, armor, ships, airplanes, locomotives and rolling stock as well as thousands of figures, paints, airbrushes, as well as any and every tool you will need. if you need something, odds are they have it or something very similar. also the prices are very cheap and processing is great (of about a dozen orders i have placed with them, i think 3 days is the longest it has taken an order to ship out).

hope this helps

Hello everybody, online source for kits?

Hey all, just starting out building.  I don't do anything exclusively yet, I get just as much stress relief from building a car as I do a tank or airplane.  I've got about 8-9 models under my belt so far.  I'm not very good with detail or creativity, so I haven't done any weathering or modding.  I just finished the Buick Grand National kit, I can't remember who made it.  I hope to learn a lot here and get better at building!

There is only one dedicated hobby/model shop in my area, along with a Michael's (chain craft store).  Can anyone recommend some online retailers that have beginner to intermediate level kits, along with paints/tools/supplies?

Thanks guys and glad to be here.
