Hello

Hello everyone.  Just a note to introduce myself.  Fortysomething(just) from leafy Hertfordshire.  Married two kids and back into kit modeling after a long. long time.

Kept a lot of my kit I had as a boy, but building up supplies and tools etc.  Have not yet got the airbrush habit.  Still using brushes as I am finding the airbrush and compressors a tad expensive, as I am on a bit of a budget.

I like modelling mostly military and aircraft in mostly 1/72, 1/48 and 1/35.  I build whatever takes me fancy, but it tends to be stuff slightly obscure.  I am currently building an Eduard Weekend Bf108 which I am enjoying very much.

In closing I think the missus likes this cheaper hobby I have got back into, as my other interest is as a semi-pro performer on the folk/blues circuit in Herts.Beds and Bucks.  When money was plentiful Acoustic guitars were my passion(currently have three beauties.

However I love making models again.  Instantly I am transported back to the 70s and saving my pennies for the latest release.  My birthday is looming and I am very keen and the new Airfix Vickers Valiant.  Very glad to be part of this forum and looking forward to talking to you all.
