Howdy from Annapolis

Hello from Maryland!

Haven't modeled in over 25 years and when I did, it was just glue and stickers.  But, being an avid WWII buff, I wanted to get into it again and build some quality stuff.

I want to build 1/35 scale and I hear Tamiya and Dragon are now tops?  I like detail and I confident with my hands to be able to start at the intermediate level.  Any suggestions?

Air brush?  Or will brushes work?

A little more info: I like WWII tanks and planes.  My initial feelings on dioramas are mixed, but willing to try one.

Thanks,

Ken

Welcome back to the hobby. There are some that swear by some hand brush and others air brush.

Good luck on your adventures back into the hobby.

armor is the best.a lot of people use airbrushes.I  live in an apartment and airbrushing is a real poor choice. I brush everything. What you need to do is find a good paint that lays down nicely. While useing brushes you still need to thin the paint.Oh some one will disagree . the big thing is do not thin too much.
