Welcome Sign Modelling is an obsession, an occupation, a disease, an addiction, a fascination, an absurdity, a fate. It is not a weak mind’s hobby. Those who do it must do it. Those who do not do it, think of it as a cousin of stamp collecting, a sister of the trophy cabinet, and [dinkywongo] of a sound bank account.

Thank you! That was one of our more recent shoots, and it was a boat-load of fun, standing there with the high-speed camera only a few feet away from the howling, exploding rockets. I was ecstatic to find that the footage had come out so clearly. Will be sharing that one in the scratchbuilding forum soon ... we just posted our submarine video there and I don't want to spam the forums.

Thanks again for the welcome!

Thank you! It's nice to be here!

I'm posting from Boston, MA in the USA. My father lives in rural New York state, which is where we do most of our building and filming.

Greetings from a father-son scale modeling team!

Hi All,

Michael posting here from Boston, MA. I'm the younger of a father-son team of scale modelers who build a variety of craft (both scratchbuilt and kits, but mainly maritime models) and post videos of them on our YouTube channel. We've got a pretty good followership there, but until recently our forum membership was confined to RCGroups. Aiming to change that by registering here.

I'm off to share some of our most recent builds in the appropriate sub-forums. Can't wait to use the massive knowledge base of this community to assist with some of our future builds!

Thanks for having us.

Michael
