New to this..the forum not the hobby..

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I've building models I guess for the last 10 or so years. I've built everything from battleships, to F1 cars... In fact I just finished a Tamiya 1/20 Ferrari F2000 car..It came out nice, with some minor fit and finish problems..Sad [:(] Maybe I'll post pics on here sometime. My current project is a Tamiya 1/24 Mercedes Benz CLK DTM 2000 TEAM D2 racer...Anyways, thanks!

I, too, am new to this forum, and I have been modeling close to 55 years. I am a member of two IPMS chapters (Bedford, Massachusetts, and here in Sacramento, California), and my primary interests are in World War II era aircraft. My current projects include mold-making, resin casting, and refining techniques for scribing, painting, and weathering model aircraft. My current project is a Dornier Do 217K-2 carrying two Fritz-X radio-guided bombs. I am using the Italeri kit, which is good enough to make the project worthwhile, but its deficiencies have taken me many months to correct, to the extent I can.

Hi NU_BLUE and welcome to the forums. looks like you like your F1. i like the old stuff like the lola's and tyrells,( i grew up atching the likes of James Hunt, Emerson Fittipaldi and Nikki Lauda, don't build F1 cars tho. i stick to mainly aircraft, roadcars/custom with the occasional armour and space/scifi piece thrown in too.
