“Enter freely and of your own will…” said a strange voice as though not used to human speech. (We’re all a little mad here.)

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Thank you for all the kind welcomes.

On the subject of the P-51D, one thing I love about aircraft modelling is tracking down unique camouflage schemes and interesting markings. I find it makes the build more enjoyable for myself.

Welcome aboard, glad to have you with us.

Good luck with the airbrushing. There can be some frustrations at first, but it opens up whole new worlds of finishing.

Welcome Sign to the forum!  That's a good looking P-51.  Always nice to see well known aircraft is lesser known markings!

Peace through superior firepower.

I've been signed up to FineScale Modeler for a good while now but I've always been more of a lurker than a poster, so I aim to change that.

I'm Alcatraz coming all the way from Ireland. I've been modelling aircraft for just over a year now and slowly improving my skills as I go along. To give an idea of a recent project this is a P-51D Mustang in Chinese Nationalist Airforce markings that I finished recently. It's probably the last time I'll be brush painting a build as I've just bought an airbrush and compressor, I'm trying to get to grips with it at the moment.
