New to FSM forum

Hello. I recently got back into the hobby after helping nephew build a pinewood derby car re-sparked my interest in building model airplanes after a 30 year hiatus. Started building about a year ago...and boy did I stink! However, I stuck with it and am now greatly enjoying building again. Even though I spent many years in the Army, my main interest rests in 1/48 scale aircraft. Have not found a niche yet but seem to gravitate towards WWII aircraft but, I did have a great time building an old Testors 1/48 U-2 that was a gift from the in-laws. Most of my builds have been pretty bad but I have really had a good time. My goal is to not lose focus on getting better and continue to treat each project as a fun learning experience.
