It's the new me?
Posted by table saw on Friday, January 13, 2012 2:09 PM

ToastSome of you may remember me, 207smitty.  I'm back with a new "handle", table saw!  It's a very quick and short story.  Accident at work!  Table saw and fingers, thumb included, do'nt mix.  It was the left hand.  Doctors did a fantastic job. I will be building models with both hands for years to come!  Where have I been?  Without a computer for several years, it has been dreadful.  Hello to all.

Crying OUCH!!!  “207smitty”?  Shopsmith user?  (I have a Mark V.)  This fact (plus a substantial government grant) will get you a like amount of bitter, coffee-like liquid from your nearest Starbucks (or “Starburnt” as I prefer to call it).

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Welcome back to the hobby. As far as I know, only 2 things have changed. #1 - The kits keep getting better and better. #2 - A lot of them keep getting more expensive. It looks like you have the perseverence so the 2 minor changes shouldn't be a problem.

Welcome back and good to see the doctors did a good job. I'm a "newbie" myself. I am in the process of building my 1st ship, Revell's Gato sub. Cheers
