that was one of 3 ships i've ever worked with (the other two were the revellogram USS Missouri and RMS Titanic) my dad helped me build it when i was 9 or 10..more like he duilt it and i destroyed it lol. its a pretty good kit for a first ship (in my opinion). its not too detailed for a starting modeler (if its your first ship that is) during what little of i built i managed to destroy the catapults and float planes. the only major fit problem i remember was the deck to the hull, tight in some places, loose in others. but i didnt mind. i used it to blow up the tan army men around a big mud puddle by my house... back before i realised that models arent toys.

Currently I am building a 1:426 scale of the USS Arizona by Revell.

I am a little concerned about the fit and finnish. It seems the quality control  was not too imprtant when they made this kit.

With that said, I will do my best and, learn as I go
