My introduction!
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, February 6, 2004 8:39 AM
I am a modelling enthusiast since I was 10 years old.
My first models where never painted but fastly glued together and then most off the times ended up"destroyed in combat".
I hated to paint the models back then.(As a kid I thought it was boring..)
But know the paint job is one of my favorit part of modelling!
When I was around 18 years of age I started doing Figures for friends of mine, they bought the models and I had to paint them...
Some models even made to being displayed in modelingshops in my hometown!
Now I like to make whatever I like. And I hope to make a diorama with 3 ME 262 ready for take off.

My name is Beach, I am a 75 year old model maker, I construct, RC models, such as
the Jim Wilder NO-2 tug boat, the 47 foot U.S.C.G. life boat, the USS Blue Fish and the PT 109 boat, along with the America sail boat. All are RC controled units that took
many hours of toil and patience. I have a unit of tanks and aircraft, from WW-2 to present, both plastic and flying models. I have enjoyed this as a hobby since I was
12 years of age and still growing strong. Each model I build, I learn something new
I have several models on display at the U.S.C.G. airstation Sacramento, Ca. consisting
of a model U.S.C.G. 41 foot patrol facility and the wright brothers 100 year model.
I am retired from the U.S.C.G. holding the rank of Commander and have flown
many search and rescue missions in order to preserve life and property. If I can be of assistance to anyone in construction of some of the models I would be more then
willing to help. Beach
