Hi all. i'm new to the forum but i've been doing armor for little over 35 yr's, mostly German and some US. as of now i'm doing a 1/350 ship [please don't throw things] of my dads ship.[hence my user name]. after that i'm doing a couple of Hanomag 251's. i plan on doing one of each version. have a good day and keep your tracks on the ground

as long as your floaty thing does not have ah...wings I don't think they will be throwing anthing. Wink [;)]

You have joined an interesting group of people. From people like me that are making their first model in 30 years to award winners. You will find the group very helpful and friendly.

As for your next armor build, check out the towed gun group build. one of your Hanomags would fit right in Big Smile [:D]

Welcome New Mex. Wow, your dad was on BB40? I assume you're talking about the Battleship New Mexico. Who makes a 1/350 scale version? Congrats, you've entered the Dark Side now.

35 years?? Wow! You got more armor time than a lot of these guys have being alive time!! (I' not one of them!) Welcome to the insidious dark side (Where do you think Darth Sideous got his name?? -- He used to be a member of this forum until Yoda caught up with him!! lol)

Welcome to the darkside, you can never go back now.
Have fun here, there is a lot of know how floating around here, some of us are serving in the military now and some are vets so you can get a lot of hands on experiance from a lot of us (as well as pictures of stuff ).

Welcome New Mex,,, I am just finishing up my 251 Ausf D. now. Not positive if I will put it in a dio or not. Just depends on how well the camo on the figures turns out I geuss.

Nice idea to do a model of your Dad's ship.
Love to see your 251 collection as it takes shape, as I am quite partial to half-tracks.

35 years.... bet you can help many of us from time to time... that's a lot of experience.
