Thanks Darren & Ordie, well ive already put my centurion together approx 80%, and started on a building ruins that i had an idea to make a scene from :-

23 May 1968 when Crpl Bill Burton moved his tank 31B along with others to FSPB Coral from the Dat.

Going through town streets along the way. I'll get some pics up on a new build thread ASAP  :)

Hi all, my name is Clint. great site, i have already seen some awesome builders and models on here. I hope to further my skills and produce some worthy diarama's.

I have gone Nam crazy lately, i have been reading books, watching movies and of course, building some models from the Vietnam / Amercian war period. 1963- 1973. I have always been fasinated by this war, WWII never seemed to grab me, i guess im into the jungle wars with those Hueys, airborn troops and their pilots. The level of modern equipment and weapons, vehicles and aircraft is what paved the way into the 80's. And me being an 80's child, i guess this was my influence. Like Rambo.   I know some WWII vehicles were carried over like the Centurion Tank, the Sioux Bell H-13 and some of the others. The M16 was born, along with the Chinook hellicopter. Personal webbing and field equipment was tested to its limits with a different climate to that of the europe fronts. Rot, mud and rain thick jungle and hot temps tested all this gear to the limit. I like 1/35 scale, although i know most aircarft is 1/48. 1/72 is just too fine and lacking detail for me, so 1/35 is my choice.

I have built Sci-Fi, modern cars and hotrods, motorbikes and the likes, and started getting seroius with glueing and painting 1/48 german test aircraft some years ago. After my wife now, destroyed them in a fit of rage... :(   i put them down for some time. very dishearted to see my hours long builds broken in anger. I have always built models from a young age but now im an adult i would like to bring my skills to a higher level. So if there is any Nam fans out there i have many kits coming.

Pibber boat, LCCS boat, Junks & fishing boats, M113's , M551 sheridan , M5O1 ontis, M41A walker bulldog, centurion's , M151A jeep, M102 gun, and many NVA, VC and US force figures.  I have already added a Bell-H13 to the site, and the M501 Ontis. Although they are only 98% finished and i would like to add some final touches to them. Any advice or critisim would be appreciated. Cheers.
