Hi all!
Posted by HeikkiVayrynen on Thursday, July 5, 2012 3:14 PM

Greetings from Finland. I found this forum after purchasing the magazine, and have already learned tons of new tricks. I have found the videos particulary useful. I started modeling recently (ok, I did a couple of cars and stuff when I was a kid) , and am mostly interested in civil aircrafts. I have only finished two planes, both  in 1:48. They ended up rather clumsy because I was too eager and finished them in a hurry. Now I have got a Roden's  Pilatus Porter and AZ Model's Pitts Special (both in  1:48) in the making. And sorry for my bad english!

Finnish?  What's Finnish?

Just kidding (mostly, anyway - I'm pretty sure it's a language ... but that's about it ...).

Welcome Sign And BEWARE… the screw-up fairies lives in a modeler’s closet… and daub with sticky, greasy invisible parts every night !!!

Thank you!  Old Ordie, finnish is indeed a weird gibberish they use to primitive communicating in a small peninsula between Sweden and Russia! I try keep the screw-up fairies in a closet with my previous, 5-dollar airbrush.

Hyva Suomi!

And that's the limit of my Finnish, although I've been to your country on two occasions and stayed a couple of weeks both times.

Good luck on those two models- because they are difficult. But you do have good taste in airplanes.
