New guy here!
Posted by Daddydan on Monday, August 6, 2012 1:30 AM

Hello there.  My name is Dan and I thought I would introduce myself to y'all.  I am 38, married to a vrey patient woman and the father of 2 girls, 3 1/2 and one to be born Sept. 25th.  I started building models when I was 10, but you know what happens to them once a kid gets his mind set on "battle damage".   None of my previous builds have been show quality and I even ditched a few kits if they didn't turn out the way I wanted them to.  But now I am determined to take my time and build some real stunners.

Anyway, I moved to Montana 9 years ago and I thought I would get back into the habit since the winters here can be more than challenging and l-o-n-g!  Currently, I have the Academy P-38F, "Glacier Girl" on the bench but waiting in the wings is a Monogram B-25J and a Tamiya F4U-1A.  I build mostly allied WWII aircraft, but I have been known to dabble into the world of 1/35 armor and soft skinned vehicles.

I am looking forward to chatting with some of you on the boards.  Cheers!

Dan (daddydan)

Welcome aboard Dan.  Welcome Sign   I have been modeling for over 40 years and still keep learning new things. You will learn a lot here from a group of very talented modelers.
