NEW and lost modeler
Posted by welshmodeler on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 5:16 AM

Hello

I joined today after looking around this site, also to see if there are any other modelers there with a passion for building  ww2 aircraft, those near Dunfermline, swaping tips etc. Also I have a S.O.S. I recentlypurchased a Revell 1/32 F4U-1D corsair.Great kit but it came without instructions, does anyone have a copy, that they could e-mail to me  please. I'm new to big scale plastic airplane kits.. and there seem to be an awfull lotof parts. Anyhelp gratefully accepted.

Welcome Rhet! For the instruction sheet, probably should start a separate thread with "Revell 1/32 F4U-1D Corsair Instructions" as the title, may have better odds of being noticed by the right person.

Occasional factual, grammatical, or spelling variations are inherent to this thesis and should not be considered as defects, as they enhance the individuality and character of this document.

Thanks Vance, you wouldn't happen to know where I can buy a 1/32 scale pilot would you? The kit has come without one (and some other small parts). I've looked on e-bay, but no luck. Is it too much to ask sellers to be 100% honest with their auction information???

There don't appear to be any seated WW2 US pilots in that scale. The best i can find is this

Sorry, 1/32 is out of my comfort zone. How would you feel about modifying a seated (driving??) 1/35 figure? Those things are everywhere!!!
