Hello Fellow Styrene Fiends!
Posted by Colin P on Friday, August 17, 2012 9:44 AM

Hello FSM, my name is Colin I'm 49 years old from Canada. I just got back into scale modeling three months ago after a 30 year hiatus. Marriage, kids and work kinda took the forefront during those years along wirth the lack of a proper work area. I'm fortunate cause I hung onto a lot of the tools down through the years, draging them from place to place but am glad I did now.

I enjoy building all different kits cars, aircraft, ships but my favorite is armor in particular the Vietnam war. I like the seperate challenges that each type of build presents and it breaks up the monotony of working on the same type of build over and over.

I have spent the last week going through the archives of theTools section and have gleaned  quite a few new insites and tips and now look forward to reading through the rest of your sections.

I also want to give a special thanks to Pawell for directing me here Big Smile

SE New Brunswick on a small Island called Campobello. It's  a small community here and the only way to get to the mainland is to cross the border and drive an hour through the US. Kind of makes it hard though, even to do banking you have to make the trip. Thank goodness for direct deposit lol!

Nice to meet you Vance! Where you hail from?

Welcome aboard, Colin! Always glad to have another styrene-dependent personality in the group. Hope you enjoy your time here.

If you've got any photos of your work  to share, we'd love to see them. It's always fun to see what others are up to.

Cheers

Greg
