Welcome, Winetanker! I've been building for 60 years (!) and have learned a few tricks in that time, as well have amassed a great deal of tools and supplies. Glad to have you aboard!
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
Old Ordie I like your handle there, Winetanker ... any relation to Oddball? Any cheese in the turret? Welcome aboard!

Building the perfect model---just not quite yet
Well....remember I did say "off and on"!!!
I've learned quite a bit lurking here the last coupla months!
and...until a few weeks ago....I'd never (gasp!!!!) used an airbrush!!!!
Wow 40 years! I believe we have several folks who've been building around that area. Welcome, we could sure use your experience and knowledge here.
Greetings....
Been modeling for about 40 years now (since I was 8). Built all the Star Trek models and just about every 1/48 Monogram WW2 aircraft kit I could find; been modeling off and on ever since...
Bought a coupla Testors tank kits about a year ago and found I liked building tanks. My lack off skills in this area led me to lurk in this forum the last coupla months picking up tips; and now that I've completed my first DML model (Pz III J...intial production) I feel its time to take the plunge....
I'll be posting some pics in the armor section soon.
