Hi everybody !!!
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, February 12, 2004 1:36 AM
Hi everybody, my name is John. I was reading some of the topics in the forum and I decided to give it a try. So I'm here. I'm kind of of new to this site but i've been modeling for about 6 years. Building WWII armor and aircraft is my trick.
I've always been interested in WWII,read a lot of stuff, visited museum, watched war movies (The Longest Day is my favorite) ... so modeling was a kind of way to "see and toutch" the real thing.....

Well ,anyway, I look foreward to joining some disscusions and getting tips from more experienced modelers (i think I'm in the right place...Big Smile [:D])

By the way....my english is not that good....I'm canadian and I live in Quebec...so I speak french and my real name is Jean-Philippe....but you can call me John....that's okay

Hey John,
Welcome Aboard!
I can totally relate to the WWII bond I'm very hooked on it myself. I watch way too much History channel and most all of it is on WWII. Its one of the fastest ways I can clear the family from the room. I guess it’s a guy thing, not a girl thing. (usually) Also, its funny you mentioned "The Longest Day" I just happen to watch it the night before last. Good film. Good Old John Wayne Thumbs Up [tup]
